The trip to the Otago museum

Actually, it is not my first time visit to the Otago museum; I had visited the museum when I was in the elementary level. But it is my first time visit Tangata Whenua.

I have just thought about my topic which I will prepare for speaking assessment before I went to the area of the museum. In fact, I really did it. I was looking for my topic only at the first time. But, after a few minutes, I start to enjoy this trip without as a task.

In the first, we can find a red big boat in the middle of the exhibition hall, I did not read the information of the boat, I guessed the maori people has built it for fishing, because there is a big cabin in the boat. But our teacher told me the boat had been built for war, the big cabin had been built for keep maori warrior dry. The quite sad part is I forgot to take a picture with the boat. Also I find some picture of maori warrior who were dancing and their life, and a model place which is a maori child learning with his parents.

It is a great trip. I might go to there again, and I enjoy this trip.
