About visit to Otago Museum

 

I could catch some information about Maori culture for our presentation.

And I saw the boat Maori had used to come to New Zealand for the first time and it was so big. I noticed that there are a lot of unique patterns on the side of the boat.

Maori’s wood carvings have their own unique characters. For example, there are big eyes and tongues are put out. Those look like Kanegon which is a character of Ultraman. Do you know? Please compare Maori’s wood carvings and Kanegon.

 

Also I found a little information about Maori music. However I will talk about this in our presentation.

 

Today I went to Otago Museum for the first time, it was good time.
