Yuanhui Ding

Here is some information about myself. I was born on Christmas Day, in Pingtan county, Fuzhou, Fujian province. But I lived in Fuzhou city for one year after I got my associate degree. I am living with my wife, and my homestay mother, nearby one of Dunedin’s beautiful beaches, now.

 I used to be a pharmacist. I used to work in the Fuzhou traditional Chinese medicine hospital outpatient pharmacy. I really enjoyed my work, and I had many great and friendly colleagues. I was learning a lot from them, and we worked like a good company. But I still resigned, because I decided to study abroad when I found I have to improve myself. I hope I can fly higher later.

I like sport. I have been a big fan of Chinese Kung Fu since I was a child, and I used to try many sports with my friend when we were high school students. And I used to be crazy about basketball. I played basketball for six years. But I abandoned it when my ankle was injured in middle school. Then I changed my hobby to badminton when I went to high school.

I love life. I have a lot of hobbies, such as, traveling, cooking, listening to music and swimming etc. I really enjoy cooking, and I really enjoy it when my family enjoys my cooking. But I don’t like to be a dishwasher. Also I enjoy the time staying with my family.
