Enid

Let me introduce myself. My name is Tang Yixian. You can call me Enid. I’m an 18-year-old girl who was born in a beautiful city surrounded by mountains in China. I’m kind-hearted and funny. In China, I live with my parents, and our cats and dogs.

On weekdays, I study at the Language Centre. I have been here for a month and I really like it here for several reasons. First, learning here is much easier than in our country. I have plenty of time to do things I like, not schooling from morning till night. Secondly, I like the quiet learning environment here. I can calm down to read books and study. In addition, I like the students here, because they always let me learn things from different countries, and they always help me a lot.

In my spare time, I enjoy watching movies, swimming, and going shopping with my friends. We always have dinner together on weekends. I have tasted the food from different places here. Maybe in the near future I will learn to cook, and then let my friends enjoy food from China, like dumplings! By swimming I can lose weight. I like water spray and enjoy the feeling in the water.

I enjoy reading and drawing too. Compared to reading on the Internet, I prefer the feeling of paper books, because I can write down my feelings at any time. Also painting makes me relax. I like the feelings of colours. When see my finished work, I am very proud.

This is me, maybe I’m the same as many others but also I’m unique.
